Mission

These poor African villagers were welcoming and embraced her as part of their community consequently leading to the name "The Travelling Doctor". Despite numerous trips to various communities and uncountable lives touched, Dr.Nazha realized despite her humble efforts, this was not sufficient due to the broad impact of chronic poverty across the Third World Nations from Africa to Asia and beyond. She realized the little impact a single Doctor could have, to communities who neither have the means to afford the services of one or the subsequent medicine needed for their survival.

It was in this spirit Dr.Nazha setup the Nazha Charity Foundation, which in its modest goals can be summarized as follows;
  • Bring together like minded Medical Professionals to the forefront of fighting chronic poverty, by using their expertise, time and energy to help those who are stricken by illness and victims of chronic poverty. Thus, by treating them only then can they stand on their feet and be productive members of their communities, bread winners of their families and humanitarians in their own right.
  • To highlight the desperate state of the most vulnerable members of the community who are left unattended to either by, willful neglect, cumbersome nature of bureaucracy in the individual countries, lack of coordinated effort by the Medical Communities in the individual countries and the Media's inattention to the plight of their weakest of citizens, thus reducing its severity in the eyes of the broader population.
  • To generate international awareness to the desperate severity which people with chronic poverty face and live with daily. The overall negative effects it has on the immediate family, the communities, the countries in question and the planet as a whole.
  • To promote volunteerism in this humanitarian cause, if not directly (i.e. being physically on the ground to assist) then indirectly (i.e. written articles of daily causalities, donations either material or capital, media attention, generate awareness)
  • To highlight the responsibilities  we have to our less fortunate, chronically poor and weak of the human race. It is a beautiful burden to shoulder when we play our roles in safe guarding the health, which translates to wealth of a family, a community, nation and planet.

    If a healthy nation is a wealthy nation, then a wealthy nation has a responsibility to safeguard the health of the weakest members on this planet, we call home.
